Como has been Europe's silk capital for centuries — the scarves on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré are printed here. This private experience takes you inside a working silk factory with a guide: two hours among printing frames, dyeing vats and finishing lines, ending with hospitality, snacks and Italian sparkling wine. Groups up to six; availability follows the factory's production calendar.
Honest prices — what it really costs
| Experience | Guests | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Guided silk factory tour (2 hours) | up to 6 people | €275 per person |
Included: 2-hour guided tour, hospitality with snacks and Italian sparkling wine. Not included: transfer to the silk factory. Availability depends on the factory's operational calendar — the earlier you ask, the better.
How it works
Tell us your dates on WhatsApp and we check the factory's production calendar — tours only run when the floor schedule allows. Once confirmed, you meet the guide at the factory gate in Como. You pay the operator directly; no prepayment to us. Transfers to the factory are not included but can be arranged with our chauffeur service.
What's included
A two-hour guided tour of the working factory — printing, dyeing and finishing departments — plus hospitality with snacks and Italian sparkling wine at the end. A genuinely private visit: just your group and the guide.
Who it's worth it for — and who should skip it
Worth it if you care about craft, fashion or design — this is the real production floor, not a museum replica. Skip it if you are travelling with small children or have only a beach-and-boat day planned; it deserves its own morning.
